Folklore Creative Company · Tools
Beyond the camera, Folklore Creative Company builds tools to help other photographers, filmmakers, and makers run a creative practice — and spend more of their time actually creating.
Why we're building this
Running a creative business means doing a hundred things that have nothing to do with creating. Over years of building Folklore, I made my own systems to carry that invisible weight — so I could get back to the work that matters. Enough people asked how I did it that I started turning those systems into tools anyone can use.
This is the other half of the company: not just making the work, but making it easier for other creative people to make theirs.
The tools
Money in, money out — made for self-employed creatives. Track income and expenses, send invoices, capture receipts, and stay ready for tax season, without the spreadsheet dread. Built for people whose books shouldn't need an accounting degree. Live now at creativesledger.io.
The client portal I built to run Folklore's own wedding work — galleries, payments, and every client touchpoint in one calm place. It's the system behind the scenes here, and it's a tool we may open up to other wedding professionals in the future. Want an early look? Get on the list.
Who it's for
Photographers, filmmakers, artists, and independent makers who are great at their craft and tired of everything around it. If you're building a creative practice and want it to feel less like admin and more like art, these are for you.
